Rainbowquery: Search the Internet for sites of interest to the GLBT community with this dedicated and effective search engine. It also has an excellent list of categories into which sites are filed. Well worth a bookmark.
WWW Women: Another excellent search engine, this time focussing on sites of interest to women in general
Lesbian.org: A good general site with lots of categories, a particularly good feature is the Lesbian.org Guide to the Internet - which is one of the best beginner's intros to the Internet I've seen
Planet Out: Land on it: Not specifically a lesbian site, but one targeted at the whole GLBT community. If you become a member you get email @planetout.com and the day's news from a GLBT perspective is emailed to you.
A Dykes World: Produced (in English) by Indina Beuche 'somewhere in the North of Germany, this is another very good general site with lots of sections. It is also beautifully designed and produced - a pleasure to navigate.
Queercompany: General gay and lesbian resource site, with lots of sections on a variety of topics. Well designed and worth visiting.
Pridelinks: A good general GLBT links site, it's category based and very comprehensive.
Gayscape: Very extensive GLBT links site, multinational and comprehensive.
Diva: The UK based Lesbian Interest Magazine.
Dyverse: On line writing and literary resource site for lesbian, bisexual and transgender women
Rainbow Network: A large glbt site, with a password protected, women only, lesbian area. I couldn't check it out as I'm biologically male but it is worth a look I suspect
